woocommerce 3.8.1 version transaction order status message not displaying on checkout/order-received page but in woocommerce 3.4.3 version transaction order status displaying properly on same page (checkout/order-received)

Explanation:
In woocommerce 3.8.1 version when i select product and place an order it goes to payment checkout page to fill the credit debit card details after paying amount successfully it redirects to merchant website’s page but i receive only “Thank you. Your order has been received” but not receiving payment method’s successful message on checkout/order-received page but i get successful message when i again add product to cart it is showing “Thank you for shopping with us. Your account has been charged and your transaction is successful. We will be shipping your order to you soon”. Which i want both messages on the same page (checkout/order-received) as i use to get on woocommerce version 3.4.3
