Use WordPress Shortcodes in TinyMCE5

Question

I am using WordPress on my site. I wanted a visual editor on frontend of my site. Gutenburg isnt allowed to be put on frontend, and visual editor looks old, so directly using TinyMCE was the best option.

Currently I am using TinyMCE 5.3 which has features like quickbars and many others.

It works great. But only until I want to use shortcodes.

In visual editor adding shortcodes would render them nicely and retain them as shortcode itself when saved, rather than output.

Unfortunately this doesn’t work with TinyMCE 5.3.

So is there a way to be able to render and preserve wordpress shortcodes and all other wordpress functionality, in TinyMCE 5.3

I tried the TinyMCE Advanced plugin few months back but it doesn’t have TinyMCE 5.3 like functionality either.

How could I make my TinyMCE 5.3 recorganzize WordPress Shortcodes, and then show there output similar to the way it happens in WordPress Visual Editor
