Updating staging site posts before live push

I wanted to know if anyone had a work around to update a staging to mirror all the posts on a live site, Our website has over 7000 posts (news blog) with lots of media files. I have already attempted all of the export/import options including wpallimport and nothing is working.

I want to overwrite all post on staging site with the current live site. I want to avoid copying the live site again and redesigning the website. ANY ADVICE would be greatly appreciated.
