I’ve created a plugin that will add some custom shortcode to wordpress. I’m looking for a way to create an auto-updater that will rely on a github repo, this because I want to sell my plugin on a marketplace. How I can create a class that will manage the plugin update like the other commercial plugins? Is there any good tutorial or guide to achieve this and what filters or actions I can use for this scope?
