Theme license stuck on old localhost

So I was messing around with local host servers and created a WordPress environment using XAMPP. Then I had a few issues so deleted the virtual machine and set-up a new local host. Now the theme I purchased seems to be tied to the old VM WP local host. How do I disconnect it and add it to another? I can’t activate the theme in the new environment
