In the backend admin area, is it possible to change ‘the_content’ section to appear as a basic text input similar to ‘the_title’?

So turning it into a simple text input, instead of the rich text editor that’s capable of including images etc.

I wanted to achieve this only for a custom post type within a plugin admin page.
