Question

I am looking at the sizes/resolutions WP Smush (v3.4.2) uses to scale images.

Some of them don’t make much sense as they stand.

Image Sizes/Custom in Smush settings menu, but also on things like product pages:

I suspect they could be something to do with aspect ratio (e.g leave Y-dimension as is, or scale Y such that X = 600)

Can someone educate me on this?
