I notice that certain commercial plugins, for example Migrate Db Pro by Delicious Brains, is able to include a “View details” link in the Admin plugins listing.

So I imagine there’s a way to work around the old thinking that it’s not possible.

The image comes from their website, referenced in a manifest file: wp-migrate-db-pro/frontend/build/asset-manifest.json.

Changelog itself is also not present in the local plugin file system.

Hoping for a recommended approach/solution to this.
