Replacing wordpress database search with Elasticsearch using a bought theme

I have bought a jobboard theme ( https://wp.nootheme.com/jobmonster/ ) so as to create a jobboard.
The theme is using the wordpress database search,when searching for a job.
My question is:Is this possible to replace the default search with Elastic search?
Does it need custom code or is it easy with just installing the Elasticsearch plugin and configuring the Elasticsearch server? (as I am not a developer)
