What I want to achieve is for when a contact form is submitted by a website visitor, it sends out an email to a admin/editor of the website and then continues to send out reminders (maybe once a day) until the admin/editor acts upon it…

My initial thought to achieve this was for the form to create a post at time of submitting and for that post to have a custom field in the back-end like a checkbox e.g. “Replied? ▢” Once the admin checks the box it would stop the email reminders. However there may be an easier or better solution…

Any Ideas?
