have spun up a dedicated WordPress instance, and everything is working except for the media uploads. When I try to upload, I am told The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.

However, this is not true. I have set the limit and post_max both to 30M. WordPress reflects this in the dashboard. However, any file regardless of size receives this error. do you have any ideas why? Checking my nginx log, the POST request returns a 200 and no error is logged.

the only out-of-the-ordinary thing with my setup is the directory is symlinked. could this cause an issue?
