PHP update 7.3 to 7.4 not taking effect?

Question

I upgraded my PHP version to 7.4 on debian 10 with wordpress 5.6, and the website still works, but is still using PHP 7.3. When I go disable the PHP 7.3 service and refresh my admin page it gives me a 502 bad gateway.
Plugins are not the issue, as I can disable all of them and still get the error.

My Nginx error log snippet:

2020/12/12 12:13:35 [crit] 14487#14487: *24 connect() to unix:/var/run/php/php7.3-fpm.sock failed (2: No such file or directory) while connecting to upstream
$ php -v
PHP 7.4.13 (cli) (built: Nov 30 2020 20:40:09) ( NTS )
Copyright (c) The PHP Group
Zend Engine v3.4.0, Copyright (c) Zend Technologies
    with Zend OPcache v7.4.13, Copyright (c), by Zend Technologies
$ sudo service --status-all | egrep "php|nginx|sql"
 [ + ]  mysql
 [ + ]  nginx
 [ - ]  php7.3-fpm
 [ + ]  php7.4-fpm

I must be missing something simple. I should have to tell wordpress in some way to start using PHP 7.4, but I can’t find anything online for that.
