according to this function: ACF values to Script with auto refresh

Im asking myself if this is a proper way to do this. I querying the numbers from all CPT. Those posts can reach at least 10000+ in total and also can contain several images. Could this make any performance-problems if I refresh the ajax call with this query every 5 seconds?
