I would like to add &bp_search to the end of every search query

I would like for my site to append “&bp_search” to the end of every search query performed so that it displays the search in a more favorable way on my site.
I can’t seem to figure out where/how to make this work. Hoping that someone can point me in the right direction and that it’s as simple as adding a snippet to functions.php.
