How to save draft of a page that is already published, without unpublishing it? I am using the Divi builder theme
I’ve done a fair amount of googling on this but wanted to see if my suspicions are correct . . .
I am using the Divi theme and trying to make some changes to a page that has already been published. I can’t make all the changes in one sitting, so my hope was that there is a way to save a draft of my working version, without having to unpublish the live page. What I’m finding is that there is no way to do that in WordPress by default – or maybe it’s because I’m using the Divi builder?
I do see a "Switch to Draft" button, but I believe that unpublishes the page.
I see a lot of references to the Revisionize plugin, which looks like it might solve my problem. But I thought I’d post here to see if anyone has other insights or suggestions, and to make sure that I’m not missing something.
For anyone who HAS used Revisionize, what are the pros and cons? Using it doesn’t mess with your permalinks or SEO in any way, right? I am wary of installing unneeded plugins because I don’t want it to slow down the site.
Thanks in advance!
