How to disable/hide breadcrumbs in Sinatra Theme

Question

The member’s area of my website has an events calendar. It has some breadcrumbs on the subpages of the calendar. Nowhere else in the members’ area are breadcrumbs employed. There is an issue with one of the links in the crumbs that causes a crazy redirect. It’s a nuisance at worse. I’ve been back and forth with my hosting company, the plugin developer, and asked questions on the wordpress.org forums trying to ferret that out with no success.

All that said, my desired solution is to simply hide the breadcrumbs or completely disable them for the members area. Search engines can’t see them anyway and the navigation is easily replaced with standard links and buttons. So,

Does anyone know where in the css of the Sinatra theme I can find the breadcrumb classes? A search of the styles.css in the assets folder for the term “bread” returns nothing. It’s an intimidating file and I just don’t know where to look.

Maybe the solution is in a php function as I need to differentiate between logged-in users and annonymous users.

I’m using “The Events Calendar” and ideally just that plugin’s breadcrumbs would be disabled. The creator’s, though, are of no help. Sinatra allows for disabling breadcrumbs on main pages such as the home page or the actual events page, but there is no option for other such pages. Thanks for any clues you might be able to offer.
