How to add a button with a link on homepage cover banner using the TwentyTwenty theme?

Question

I am using the TwentyTwenty theme.

I’ve setup a homepage cover banner, same as on this screenshot.homepage banner cover

I would like to add a button with a link in the middle of the banner. There is no option in the WordPress admin to do this, no block I can add in this section using the block editor I am not yet familiar with the block based themes in WordPress.

How can I achieve this?
