I am fairly inexperienced with WordPress and web development in general. I am looking to build a book catalog site that should be searchable through author/title/isbn/artist/genre etc. This is going to be an academic project and not looking for a bookstore cms. Instead, the site should have more in-depth information about the book itself, more like a library management system without the lending part. Can anyone recommend such a theme or plug-in with enough customization options so that I can insert the required fields into the WordPress database? Or shall I build my own CMS from the ground up (which is quite difficult for me). You can also suggest any other CMS if suitable.
