Front-end user submit Custom Post Type with AJAX and ACF Fields

I am in need of some advice/nudging in the right direction to achieve the following:

Logged in users will be able to either create new or edit existing posts from a custom post type.

They will be able add ACF fields within the post as well.

I have looked at examples with admin-ajax.php, however I’m having issues getting these to work with CPT and ACF Fields.
