I need a second replica of the Cash on Delivery Payment Method. Pretty much identical, but with different text info being used and sent with emails.

Is this as easy as duplicating the gateway, making some text edits in the PHP file and saving it to my child theme? Is there anything I should be careful of to prevent errors?
