am using a Premium theme, but sadly the developer abandoned the theme. It’s now broken with recent WordPress updates and am worried about security risks, so now am trying to switch to another theme.

The issue is, the theme am using comes with Custom post types such as ‘Videos’ added through the theme’s plug-in luckily.

Now am having difficulties on how to make the Custom Toxonomy
or categories for ‘Video’ CPT to appear in both WordPress native widgets and the new theme Widget’s category dropdown list. The only categories am getting are only for default posts.

Any help would be really appreciated. Am not much familiar with php.
