I’m trying to make and autocomplete-function for the native WordPress search, like on Amazon.com:

The frontend of the site is a bunch of Vue-components, so making an AJAX-request to get the suggestions are quite doable. However, I’m struggling to figure out where to get those suggestions from.

Attempts / Thoughts

• I looked into the bigger search-plugins: Relevanssi. But that didn’t have it (at least not ‘out of the box).
• I can see that there is a well-working plugin called Ajax Search for WooCommerce, but it looks like it only does the autocomplete for products (and I need i for pages and custom post types as well).
