Summary of this Tutorial:
Start by installing and activating the Google Language Translator plugin.
To edit the settings go to Settings, Google Language Translator.
You can choose the layout for the translate form.
Most importantly you need to check the box next to Plugin Status and press Update Option button to activate the plugin.
With your settings changed, go to Appearance, Widgets then drag and drop a text widget with this shortcode inside: [google-translator]
Save your widget and your users will be able to translate your website to their language of choice.
Users can also update the translation of your site to improve the machine translation.
If your readerbase is great you can get your whole website translated by volunteers.

How can I instead add Google Translate to my site and have the pop up prompt only trigger when it recognizes a non-English language browser?
This was built into my old Google Sites website but not in WordPress.
very helpful
thank you for this! what ever you do, do not use the plugin from SURSTUDIO ! their service is crap
thank u
Great example, but I'm having issues with the widget. I'm a native Dutchy, but when I translate my website to Dutch, it's giving me faulty grammar. Is there a way to edit the translation myself?
Thanks in advance!
Thank you!
Thanks for uploading video on google translate plugin for wordpress. Now sure it will help my user to read content easily in their languages. And it will easy for me to grab foreign user for Myinfostake blog by implementing google translator.

How to "translate.google.com" Input my website.???
Great example ! Google translates "Home" into "Maison" (= "house"). You do NOT want your readers to view a google-translated version of your website, it will look ridiculous and unprofessional.
Thank you that really helped me with my translation issue.
how can I install Google Translate into word press and have it only pop up as a floating widget if the visitors browser is set to a language other than English?
